Well today is a landmark day for the ZPanel project, After nearly a year of development and a month in beta testing, today ZPanelX is released to the masses!
ZPanelX is a complete re-write of ZPanel, myself and Rustus have been busy for nearly a year now implementing a completely new framework, web services layer, hook system, new translation system and improvements to the modules previously provided in ZP6 as well as some new core modules. As part of this release we have also written a ton of documentation of which we lacked from previous releases. - ZPanelX (10) really does take hosting to the next level!
We hope that you enjoy the new release of ZPanel, hence forth and play!
For Linux users:-
Install instructions can be found in the Community Guides Forum :
CentOS 6 Installer
For Windows users:-
For simplicity and like how I previously did it for ZPanel 3+ we've provided a 'secure' web server stack, which combines a simple to use Install Wizard to install Apache, PHP, hMailServer, BIND, FileZilla server etc. first download the ZPanelX Server Stack and install that then use the ZPanelX Windows Installer to install ZPanelX onto your server and configure the enviroment for you!
The Windows installer has now been split into two, one being the 'server (stack) software' and the other being the actual ZPanelX code this is to make it easier to upgrade both the server stack and ZPanelX files independently of each other.
Download Windows Server Stack
Download the ZPanelX installer for Windows (requires the Windows Server Stack to be installed)
Or for a manual install you can download the source version (.zip file - the same that is used in the Linux/BSD install), you then are responsible for installing your stack manually and updating the zpanel settings accordingly.
Please bare in mind that these files have just been released to the Sourceforge Mirror network so may take time to replicate around their mirror network, please be patient
