i edited two files
1. /etc/mysql/my.conf
i found --> bind-address and changed it value to "localhost" like this ---> bind-address = localhost
saved the file then
2. /etc/zpanel/panel/cnf/db.php
i edited the connectivity lines for my server then saved it
and the problem solved for me

Error_0100.jpgHello guys,
I ran into the same problem but after I changed my password in MySQL, so after reading this thread, I started looking around and sure enough the I had to edit the db.php, I have attached the pic...
I went here in the Windows Installation to edit the db.php -> C:\zpanel\panel\cnf
Thanks for the post,![]()

Also, there is a file in /zpanel/ called login_details.txt... you can update the new password in there to help remind you just in case![]()

i received this error due to my mysql password. The thing that notified me of it was right after the installation, it said PHP ERROR .... unknown variable ... line 15 of db.php.
I dont know what characters are acceptable of mysql paswords but i had a $ in it and anything that was after that was the unknown variable which caused the 0100 error. So i changed the pass to something i thought was acceptable (just didnt include the $) and all is good now.
So now i have zpanel working on CentOS 6.3
Need to post this as a bug...have the password field check for invalid characters, or to allow more characters: http://bugs.zpanelcp.com

I Performed a installation on a clean Ubuntu 12.04 server and got this error.
When i looked into mysql i only could see the database zpanel_roundcube, mysql and information_schema the rest wasn't there.
I just imported the .sql files in /etc/zpanel/panel/etc/build/config_packs/ubuntu_12_04/zpanelx-install/sql
This solved my problem
[EDIT] Thanks to delete (resolved)
